The Gallery
white trayned bandes
of the cittie of london, 1643

A few images giving a taste of the quality of our presentation in our combined role as the White Trayned Bandes of the Cittie of London. We are the nearest thing that you can get in the 21st Century to the committed trayned bandesmen of the mid-seventeenth century. We do not have polished armour, we use ours in battles, we fire our muskets and canon and we know how to use defensive postures against real cavalry. We also understand what it means to be a seventeenth soldier keeping yourself alive in the field, keeping your kit going and understanding what is important to keep you alive. This is a serious unit - no fops or fancy lace here, just soldiers willing to fight and die for the rights and privileges of Parliament!
