The Armie of Parliament is organised into four infantry brigades supported by a regiment of Cavalry and the Parliament Trayne of Artillery. The whole formation is under the command of the Lord General of the Armie of Parliament, which will be Paul Eaglestone until 2018.

The Lord General is supported by the Serjeant-Major General (in command of the infantry) a Chief of Staff, and other staff officers. Each brigade is commanded by a Brigade Commander, who in turn relies upon the Commanding Officer's of each of the regiments in their brigade to carry out the orders of the Lord General.

The Armie of Parliament is made up of the following formations:
  • Cittie of London Brigade
  • Cromwell's Brigade
  • Fairfax's Brigade
  • Waller's Brigade
  • The Parliament Trayne of Artillery
  • Sir William Waller's Lifeguard of Horse
