The Brigade Commander Jon Courtney-Thompson (aka Johan Pilsbury or JCT) is in command of the brigade on the battlefield and is also responsible for its members off of it. He has the authority to issue to orders to the Commanding Officers of the attending units at an event (or in their absence those officers taking on that role).

We will have a Guidon to ease locating the Brigade Commander on the battlefield and to act as Aide-de-camp off it. The bearer of the guidon is an Officer in his own right but may act as a runner for the Brigade Commander's orders when required. 

Guidon to the Cittie of London Brigade is an appointment made at the Brigade Commanders sole discretion and shall be Ashley Fletcher, who will hold the rank of Ensign.

The Lord General has instructed that each brigade in the Armie of Parliament has a Brigade Drum Major. The drummers in the brigade will nominate their own Drum Major for appointment by the Brigade Commander for the rest of the year. The Drum Major will be given the distinction of wearing a black sash to denote Brigade Staff status for that year. Their authority is over the drummers alone. For more details click this button:

It is the intention to have a Brigade Colour for ceremonial events and parades. This Colour will lead the brigade on these events and it will be carried by an attending officer of the Cittie of London. The bearer of the Brigade Colour has no authority to issue orders.
